Delta Spotlight - Judith Schwarz

There are some people who are born to teach, who have a passion for passing their knowledge on to the next generation. Judith Schwarz is one such person.

After more than 40 years working in the insurance industry, she took a well-earned break before joining Delta Insurance in May 2022. “I approached Delta after spending some time thinking about who I wanted to work for and what I wanted my next role to look like,” she says.

Judith wanted to continue the work-life balance she cultivated during her break, so she has joined Delta Insurance as a Technical Liability Specialist for three days a week. “My work includes wording reviews, help with underwriting guidelines and participating in training sessions with the junior underwriters. Its wonderful to see their interest in wanting to learn and I get a sense of achievement out of being able to share with them what I know” Judith’s vast experience has also resulted in her conducting lots of referral work around bespoke endorsements.

She speaks highly about her new workforce and it’s clear their values and passions align. Judith is a people person. She spends her spare time with her network of friends, who work in and outside of the insurance industry.
