Initial plans to join the Police turned into a lifetime insurance career for Fleur Goodyear. Needing some work experience before joining the force, Fleur joined a wholesale broker in 1995, and never looked back. Fate’s intervention has enabled her to have a rewarding career as well as employing her investigative and analytical skills when handling complex financial lines and liability claims. Today Fleur is Delta Insurance’s Technical Liability Claims Lead.

Having worked for both insurers and brokers Fleur has honed her conflict resolution and advocacy skills to guide matters to resolution. Focussing on helping people and problem solving, Fleur is pragmatic, straight up and a steady hand of support in what is often among the worst time in a policyholder’s life. Whether a claim is big or small, an insured is entitled to support and guidance. The Delta claims team goes above and beyond.

In her role as Technical Liability Claims Lead, Fleur is a technical referral for the liability team. With a focus on constant improvement and development of knowledge, Fleur strives to ensure that Delta has clear and consistent claims handling backed up by the best panel of lawyers and suppliers to support our insureds with whatever they face.
