As Delta Insurance’s Group Head of Marketing, Giselle Chalmandrier brings over 20 years of Marketing experience, including several years as Senior Marketer in the intermediate insurance industry, delivering projects for brokers and underwriters in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Giselle's says her career started in ad agencies, where she mastered all things brand and advertising. Later, seeking more involvement on the decision-making process, she took the leap to the other side, securing various senior roles in Superannuation, Financial Advice and Property. There, she broadened her skills in disciplines such as strategic planning, digital marketing, communications, and events.
Giselle recently moved to Auckland, but says she stumbled across the Delta brand multiple times in the past while working in Australia. Giselle adds “I had my eyes on Delta, and I feel quite lucky to be in the right time and place to seize this rare opportunity”. Giselle says her focus is to craft the Delta story to brokers and partners, propelling the brand and elevating the broker experience to new heights to support Delta's accelerated growth plans.
Giselle will oversee all aspects of the Marketing function of Delta in New Zealand, Australia and Singapore offices. She will champion innovation to deliver a broker-centric marketing and communication plan that leverage Delta's unique positioning as a market leading Underwriting Group.
Together with her husband, Giselle is parent to two active young boys and says, “the New Zealand outdoor lifestyle suits us like a glove, it's a great place to raise a family and we are enjoying every minute". The family spends their weekends mountain biking or hiking the many local trails and she adds "when the children allow me to have some time on my own, I'm often found doing laps in the nearby pool, enjoying a few moments of complete silence”.
